Kate is a long-time resident of the Northern Rivers, having grown up in Fernleigh. Kate holds a Masters in Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences from Southern Cross University. She graduated in 2012 and has since been practising osteopathy on the Gold Coast, Byron Bay, Lismore and Bangalow.
Kate approaches pain treatment and management with a comprehensive and holistic perspective. While her passion lies in supporting women, children, and families, Kate's expertise extends to individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and stages of life.
Kate’s interest in health and the human body stemmed from Kate’s many years of work in remedial massage. She is passionate about osteopathy and the continual learning that the profession provides. Kate has undertaken several post-graduate courses, including myofascial anatomy, dry needling, women’s health, paediatrics, osteopathy in the cranial field, visceral osteopathy, spinning babies and clinical diagnosis.
In her practice, Kate is dedicated to fostering a warm and supportive environment for her patients. She customises her approach to address each individual's preferences and concerns, drawing from a diverse range of osteopathic techniques. From soft tissue massage and myofascial release to spinal manipulation, visceral osteopathy, and craniosacral therapy, Kate employs a varied toolkit to promote healing and well-being.
Furthermore, Kate places a strong emphasis on pain education. She takes the time to help her patients understand their bodies and their pain conditions, empowering them to actively participate in their healing journey.
Kate is available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
